The Pipes and Drums of Lindsay are hosting their annual Open House for those who are interested in joining or are just fans and would like to come out and have a listen. The Pipes and Drums of Lindsay are looking for those who are interested in joining their ranks. Experience is not necessary, but if you know how to play you are more than welcome to come out too! The Pipes and Drums of Lindsay are kicking off their 40th year with their first Open House. So if you are interested in learning the bagpipes, the snare drum, tenor or bass or even know how to already, then come out! It is being held at Parkview Public School on Adelaide Street North in Lindsay, Ontario from 6:30 p.m.to 7p.m. with the opportunity to experience a practice afterwards. The Pipes and Drums of Lindsay currently do parades, highland games and compete at the Grade 5 level in Ontario. They have travelled far and wide. From covering highland games and competitions throughout Ontario to travelling overseas to France, to take part in the Juno Beach Centre Opening Ceremonies, the Pipes and Drums of Lindsay have quite a few accomplishments under their belt over the past 40 years.
