Each year the Academy offers instruction in North Carolina providing access to some of the finest instructors available. Located at the Valle Crucis Conference Center in Valle Crucis, North Carolina (near Grandfather Mountain) the North American Academy of Piping and Drumming offers instruction in weekly increments from June 21 through July 24, 2009. New instructors included this year are Doug Stronach (snare), Reagan Jones (tenor), and Lyric Todkill (pipes).
