Thousands attend Jakarta Highland Gathering
Lippo Karawaci, Indonesia – May 28, 2011 – The 32nd annual Jakarta Highland Gathering was held in tropical conditions at Lippo Karawaci just outside of central Jakarta. More than 7,000 spectators attended the event, which was the finale to weeklong celebrations that included a golf tournament, concert and several charity events. Piping and drumming contests were split into quintets (three pipers, one snare, and one bass) and solo events in categories open to all and others restricted to competitors only from southeast Asia.
