World associations in suspense over bans

The December 6th pipes|drums investigation into the question of whether pipe band associations around the world respect suspensions of a sister association’s members was posed following the RSPBA saying that it would uphold Pipe Band Australia’s bands of four members of the now defunct Grade 1 City of Whitehorse. As you will see, the controversial suspensions were a huge story that evolved through much of 2016, once again bringing freedom of speech and social media into the spotlight.
