Bradford and Corkin new leaders for Lomond & Clyde
After David Wilton decided to leave Grade 1 Lomond & Clyde to be closer to his home in Dundee, the band put on a search for a new pipe-major. It didn’t have to look far, as veteran Grade 1 leader Don Bradford threw his hat into the ring. He quickly attracted fellow Ulsterman Gary Corkin as his lead-drummer, keeping the Glasgow-based band on solid ground. Corking subsequently decided to make a move, and L&C quickly was able to bring in Grade 1 Vale of Atholl Lead-Drummer Adrian Hoy and almost all of that band’s drum section.
