Pasadena Scottish sweep Las Vegas, baby
Las Vegas – April 13-14, 2019 – The Pasadena Scottish of California won both Medley and MSR events with straight first-place rankings against three other bands in Grade 3, the top band event in the two-day Las Vegas Highland Games at Floyd Lamb Park. Pasadena’s Grade 5 teaching band also won their competition. The event is put on by the Las Vegas Celtic Society and sanctioned by the Western United States Pipe Band Association. Weather was sunny and 80°F.
Pasadena Scottish won Grade 3B at the 2018 World Championships and were upgraded to Grade 3A by the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association in October.
