Monte Stamm, Ben Crawford: Young Drummers of the Year

Albury, Australia – May 25, 2019 – Monte Stamm and Ben Crawford were the snare and tenor winners, respectively, of the new Australian Young Drummer of the Year competitions, held at Scots School. The event was open to drummers 17 or younger who are residents of Australia. The winners received AUD$1,500 for travel to the World Solo Drumming Championships in Glasgow in October. Each contestant performed an MSR. The judges were Harold Gillespie, James Laughlin and Andrew Womersley.
