MacDougall gains overall at Braemar
Braemar, Scotland – September 1, 2018 – In the aftermath of the Northern Meeting at Inverness, the Braemar Gathering saw decent weather and a fair turnout from solo pipers. The prizes were fairly scattered, but Cameron MacDougall of Nigg, Scotland, was overall best across the three senior events. Despite its size and history, the contest apparently does not adhere to hiring only accredited members of the UK’s Solo Piping Judges Association.
