Georgetown Grade 1 medley videos – sunshine on Dunedin
pipes|drums is pleased to bring our readers/viewers/listeners videos from the Grade 1 medley competition at the 2019 Georgetown Highland Games in Georgetown, Ontario, on June 8.
The competition was won by City of Dunedin of Florida, likely the first United States-based band to win a Grade 1 competition in Ontario since Worcester Kiltie of Massachusetts in the late 1960s, perhaps marking a turning point for pipe bands in North America.
The videos are captured and published with the written permission of each band and the organizers of the event. Each band was offered remuneration for the use of their work. We thank them for their permission and support.
