Georgetown 2018 videos: Grade 1 and Grade 2 contests
pipes|drums is pleased to bring readers-viewers-listeners high-definition videos from the 2018 Georgetown Highland Games held at Georgetown, Ontario, on June 9th.
The competitions were small, but close, according to the judges on the day, except for the Peel Regional Police, who took four out of four first placings in the band’s first outdoor event in Grade 2. The 78th Fraser Highlanders won the two-band Grade 1 contest on ensemble preference over the Toronto Police, who were first from each piping judge.
