Foreigners dominate prizes at Birnam

Birnam, Scotland – August 25, 2018 – Twenty pipers came out to compete in the senior piping at Birnam in dry and partly sunny weather with a frequent strong, cold breeze. Results were scattered, but Jori Chisholm of Seattle, Germany’s Anna Kummerlöw and Jason Criag of Canberra, Australia were probably most consistent on the day. Thirteen of the competitors were from outside of the UK. The World Haggis Eating Championships were the most popular feature of the games.
