FMM tops SLOT at All-Ireland

Malahide, Ireland – July 2, 2016 – The UK/Irish season took another turn at the All-Ireland Championships, with Field Marshal Montgomery edging St. Laurence O’Toole for the overall title, one week after St. Laurence O’Toole beat Field Marshal Montgomery at the European Championships at Forres, Scotland. Field Marshal Montgomery won the Medley event, while St. Laurence O’Toole took the MSR. It was the twenty-third All-Ireland victory in Field Marshal Montgomery’s history. The annual event alternates between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, run by the RSPBA’s Northern Ireland branch and Irish Pipe Band Association, respectively.
