Boyd snaps up another Glengarry Cup
Ottawa – April 11, 2015 – Andrea Boyd of Ottawa was the winner of the 2015 Glengarry Cup, a contest organized by the Ottawa Branch of the Pipers’ & Pipe Band Society of Ontario. The own-choice MSR contest was held at the HMCS Bytown Naval Officers’ Mess in downtown Ottawa. The trophy is donated by the Glengarry Pipe Band and the contest features both professional and top local amateur competitors. The event was judged by Colin MacLellan, who held a piobaireachd workshop earlier in the day. It was the second time that Boyd has won the competition.
