Armstrong and Liddell stick around Airth to gain firsts
Airth, Scotland – July 23, 2011 – A gorgeous, sunny day and a high standard field competing for relatively big prize-money made Airth Games enjoyable for the 20 pipers attending. A few prospective entrants allegedly did a U-turn when they discovered one of the judges was not on the Joint Committee’s list of approved adjudicators, despite the CPA’s Guide to the Games stating that judges would be. Ultimately, Chris Armstrong won both light music events and Stuart Liddell hauled down the Piobaireachd.
