Alastair Lee overall winner at BC Annual Gathering
Burnaby and New Westminster, British Columbia – April 10-11, 2009 – Seventeen-year-old Alastair Lee of Surrey, British Columbia, became the youngest-ever winner of the aggregate award at the BC Pipers’ Association’s Annual Gathering, held for the seventy-seventh consecutive year. Lee won $800 to be put towards a trip to compete at Oban, Inverness or London. Ian Lawson won his first Professional Side Drumming aggregate award.
