Walker, McCallum Win At SPA
Glasgow, Scotland – March 24, 2001 – The annual Scottish Pipers Association solo piping competition was held at a virtually unheated Glasgow Academy in Hillhead. The SPA event is in its 74th year, and the 2001 version saw Willie McCallum of Bearsden, Scotland, and Gordon Walker of Glasgow take the top prizes.
