The concert was also held in the El Rey Theatre and was well received by an enthusiastic audience. When we finished, we packed up quickly only to find our bus had been towed away to the compound. After several phone calls, it became apparent that the bus would remain locked up until Monday morning. We were very lucky that the Doubletree Hotel, where we were staying, came to our rescue by sending their shuttle bus to take us and all our gear back to the hotel. This made for a hectic end to an otherwise enjoyable day.
