MacLellan To Leave Piping Centre
The Piping Centre in Glasgow will be losing Colin MacLellan as one of its principal teachers at the end of July.
MacLellan has accepted a teaching position at The Edinburgh Academy in Edinburgh.
The news comes on the heals of The Piping Centre losing another of its full-time teachers, Jim MacLean, in June. MacLean was replaced on staff by Simon McKerrell.
The Piping Centre is currently searching for a replacement for MacLellan, and expects to have a new instructor on staff in August.
Among many other awards, Colin MacLellan has won both Highland Society of London Gold Medals, and the Silver Chanter twice.
