Liddell Wins Big At Uist & Barra
Glasgow, Scotland – March 10, 2001 – Stuart Liddell of Inverary, Scotland, had a perfect day at the annual Uist & Barra Association piping competitions at the Piping Centre on McPhater Street in Glasgow, winning both the piobaireachd and light music events.
The Uist & Barra is one of the more important indoor contests of the Scottish year, reserved for those with an A grade from the Competing Pipers Association.
