Gourock Goes To Cops
Gourock, Scotland – May 12, 2002 – The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band made it two straight wins in 2002 by taking the Gourock Highland Games the day after the band won on the other side of the country in Dunbar.
Only two Grade 1 bands entered the event, but the other was the always-in-the-hunt David Urquhart Travel, with new Pipe-Major Don Bradford.
Strathclyde Police have so far been a marketing bonanza for McCallum chanters, as the band over the winter switched to that make in African blackwood.
