So…..same material as Debut and FM Live again?
Alexcazam Gandy, rocks!
I sure hope so. The last great concert I think has to have been the last one at Motherwell(I did not get to see SLOT, heard it was fantastic) The Master Blaster concert was new and fresh, and nothing since has seemed to compare. Good luck boys.
This is a great band, and I know they’ll put on an amazing show- haters and naysayers can get stuffed.
To Geoff and all those like him…. Just buy a ticket and enjoy the best band you’re ever going to hear hopefully at the top of their game. I for one am really looking forward to what is sure to be a fantastic night, whatever the musical content.
I actually really like FM a lot, just would like to hear new music instead of same medlies year to year and Duckin’ n’ Divin’ stuff again. It would be great if the Worlds week was more of a festival so we could hear all the big bands doing more than just the competition stuff. Seems like we are in bit of a rutt where the bands play the same thing over and over.
For sure FMM will rock the house and will be well worth experiencing. What a week of live entertainment it is going to be! This, WPBC, the masters recitals, Piping Live – quartet contest for example or Lunasa! Then there’s the Drumming for Drinks event at the Todd which is going to be awesome. Where does one start? Man, it’s going to be a great week!
Are non-UK bands now opting to go to the World’s mainly because of Piping Live! ?
Hmm I don’t think so, but the piping live events sure do make it more piper friendly for the die hard can’t get enough from just one concert types. I can only see Wallace monument so many times(8 to date). So to have fresh and fun things to do in town is very appealing.
