City of Regina breaks Moose Jaw wide open
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan – May 20, 2006 – The first day of the annual two-day Saskatchewan Highland Weekend took place in historic Moose jaw, amid the cherry and lilac blossoms of Crescent Park. Nineteen bands competed in four grades, and a full slate of solos took the morning to complete. City of Regina won both Grade 2 events. Andrew Smith of Calgary won the Professional solo piping events.
