Carlisle sweeps Northern Ireland Championships

Monkstown, Northern Ireland – April 8, 2006 – The five piping and drumming first prizes went to only two people as Andrew Carlisle and Philip Bell won everything at the Northern Ireland Piping and Drumming Championships. The event was part of the Ulster Festival of Piping and Drumming. Callum McKinnon of Fife, Scotland, won the Amateur Piobaireachd event, and Kris Coyle of Carrickfergus, Ireland, took the Junior MSR.
