Barry Ewen Takes Over Windsor Police

2001 Grade 2 Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario Champion Supreme winners Windsor Police have appointed Barry Ewen Pipe-Major, effective in November.

Ewen replaces Alan Clark, who will reportedly continue to play with the band.

The band also revealed that Greg Dinsdale of London, Ontario, will replace Dave Hickling as leading drummer. Hickling will also stay with the band.

Windsor Police is planning to compete at the World Pipe Band Championships in Grade 2 over the next few years. It is also reported that the band is enjoying an influx of players in both pipe and drum sections.
