Agnew-Harrison Solo Drumming goes to Graham Brown
Hamilton, Ontario – March 10, 2007 – Graham Brown of Milton, Ontario, was the winner of the 2007 Agnew-Harrison Solo Drumming Invitational, held before a capacity crowd at the Officers’ Mess of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders of James Street Canada Armoury. Stephen McWhirter of Northern Ireland – the 2006 World Solo Drumming Champion – judged the events.
At the event a special presentation by the Niagara-Hamilton Branch of the Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario was made to the family of the late Jimmy Agnew to honour his many contributions.

I just want to say the presentation and words about Jimmy were very classy. Being in Scotland for most of the summer, this contest had become one of the only times I would get to see Jimmy each year, and it was definitely different without him there in the front row.
