2013 World’s Week Grade 1 practice schedules
We bring back our eleventh annual guide to finding the world’s best bands as they make final preparations for August 17th – and 18th, if they make it through to the Final!
For the twelfth straight year pipes|drums Magazine is pleased to provide readers with a guide to the schedules and locations of practices of Grade 1 bands competing for the World Pipe Band Championship, this year in Glasgow.
All bands are listed, including those that have not yet responded with details. Their information will be added if or as it is provided, so please keep checking back over the days leading up to the World’s. We have again included Google Maps links to help you find exact locations.
Readers are advised that schedules may change, and that they should double-check before making travel plans. Bands are listed in alphabetical order.
Readers can assume that bands not responding aren’t keen to have visitors at their practices.
Checking out a few practices could also help with your decision-making for pipes|drums Magazine’s fun Pick The Six contest!
We hope that you find this guide useful.
Always a good and useful tool to have…alongside the Piping Live! website I’ve pretty much got my itinerary sorted out. Looking forward to seeing how the 2 day Worlds pans out….reckon it’ll be a success.
This is really useful, thanks very much. A busy few days ahead!
