Thurs., Aug. 12, 10 am: Glasgow Caledonian Court, and 5:30 pm informal practice at The National Piping Center.
Fri., Aug. 13, 2 pm, Glasgow Caledonian Court.
Notes: Competing at Ulster Championships, Sat., Aug. 7th, Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Performing Thurs., Aug. 12, 3:30 pm, George Square, Glasgow. “All are welcome to come listen!”
Peel Regional Police (Canada)
Where: Staying and practicing at Victoria Hall, 171 Kyle Street, Glasgow.
When: Fri., August 6, 1-2:30; Mon., Aug. 9, 9-10:30 and 1-2:30. Tues., Aug. 10, 9-10:30; Wed., August 11, 9-10:30 and 11-12; Thur., August 12, 9-10:30 and 1-2:30; Fri., Aug. 13, 9-10:30 and 1-2:30.
Note: Competing at North Berwick Sat., Aug. 7; competing at Bridge of Allan Sun., Aug. 8; Performance in George Square for Piping Live! Tues., Aug. 10, 3:30 pm. Victoria Hall a “gated” facility, so touch base with a member of the band ahead of time to gain access.
Pipeband Club (Australia)
When: Dependent on weather, practicing at 11 am and 2 pm each day, Aug. 3-15.
Where: University of Strathclyde, Rottenrow, Glasgow.
Notes: The band will also compete at North Berwick and Bridge of Allan, and on Tues., Aug. 5, a small selection of the band will be performing at the Eagle Pipers Society at the Scots Guards Club, Edinburgh. On Monday, Aug 9, the band will perform at George Square around 1 pm and then in concert at the Renfrew Ferry later that night. On Tuesday and Thursday two pipers are playing in Pipe Idol, and on Wednesday several of the band are playing at Drumming for Drinks.
