In just one week this summer, the Balmoral School of Piping and Drumming will take your playing to the next level! Students, both individuals and pipe bands, in classes of five or fewer, receive instruction on the Great Highland pipes, Scottish smallpipes, snare, tenor drum and bassdrum, while making friendships that last a lifetime.
Our 2019 guest piping instructors will be Bruce Gandy (Canadian Gold Medal, Gold Medal at the Northern Meeting, Gold Medal at Oban, Bratach Gorm, 3-time winner of the MacCrimmon Memorial Cairn for Piobaireachd) and Andrew Carlisle (Director of Piping at Carnegie Mellon University, A Grade Strathspey and Reel at Oban, A Grade Piobaireachd & Overall at The Cowal Highland Gathering, US Gold Medals for both Light Music & Piobaireachd, and three All-Ireland titles at Senior level.)
