Toronto Police red hot at Kingston

Kingston, Ontario – May 28, 2016 – It was a rare early summer swelter at the annual Kingston Scottish Festival, with a sunny and humid day and temperatures hitting 31 degrees. The Toronto Police took both Grade 1 band events against the Ottawa Police, while Tyler Harris was the winner of the Professional solo piping, and Iain Bell won the Professional solo snare drumming. Ontario’s other Grade 1 bands, the 78th Fraser Highlanders and the Peel Regional Police, opted to compete over the weekend in Alma, Michigan.
