Piping Live! Day 2 – report from the scenes at a wet Glasgow

The second day of the Piping Live! Glasgow International Piping Festival brought more overcast skies and rain – about average for Scotland’s biggest city. Undeterred, Piping Live! patrons enjoyed the day as always, packed full of a plethora of mostly free events.

The day culminated with the International Quartets Competition, a nerve-racking event that makes competing at the World Championships a walk in the park, which, come to think of it, is what Glasgow Green is. Inveraray & District won the competition for the third time since it became a staple at Piping Live!
