MacRae wins Maxville Gold Medal
Maxville, Ontario – July 30, 2010 – Doug MacRae of London, Ontario won the Piobaireachd Society Gold Medal (Canada) today at the Glengarry Highland Games, an event held separately from the PPBSO-sanctioned competitions. The Bar to the Medal, reserved for winners of the Gold Medal, including the current year, was won by Bruce Gandy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
