Scandinavian Championship picks Heather
Copenhagen, Denmark – May 22-23, 2010 – The hometown band of Heather Pipes & Drums won both the open medley and MSR to take Scandinavian Champion of Champions title. Aarhus, also of Denmark, took the Grade 4 event. Local piper Craig Martin picked up almost all the senior prizes in the solo events to become this year’s Scandinavian Champion. Judges for the events were Rory Grossart, Brain Lamond, Gordon Lee, Jens Hedegaard and Kristian Jersing.
