McCallum successfully defends Springbank title
Campbeltown, Scotland – September 12, 2009 – Willie McCallum of Bearsden, Scotland, won his sixth overall Springbank Invitational title, and his sixth in the 10-year history of the event. The aggregate prize is decided by the Piobaireachd and MSR events. The competition added a 6/8 March contest, which was held as part of each player’s tuning period before the Piobaireachd, with pipers have to play a tune written by an Argyllshire native.
