Non-Scots dominate at Strathpeffer
Strathpeffer, Scotland – August 9, 2008 – The remote Strathpeffer Highland Games started out diabolically with heavy showers and a temperature hovering around 10.5 C. At one point there was the possibility of cancellation. The weather, however, cleared by mid afternoon. The midges were intolerable, according to a few competitors. At the end of the day, the prizes were dominated by “overseas” pipers.
