LA Scots pipers on Late Late Show
Four pipers from the Grade 1 Los Angeles Scots Pipe Band will make an appearance on the Late Late Show on Monday, July 28th, as part of a promotion for comedian Eric Idle’s Not The Messiah show at the Hollywood Bowl on August 1st and 2nd.
The Late Late Show is hosted by Craig Ferguson, a Scottish actor and comedian.
The LA Scots make frequent appearances on television and in movies, and have played in the past at the Hollywood Bowl itself.
The band will compete at the 2008 World Pipe Band Championships, drawn ninth in the Grade 1 Qualifying competition on August 16th.
What a disappointment… all they played was Always Look On The Bright Side of Life” over and over and over…”
Keith, It’s not that we had a say in the tune Mr. Idle wanted played. It was to promote his show this weekend. Sorry to let you down. Sometimes it’s a good thing just to support our fellows bands when an opportunity like this comes up for them. I would tune in to any show to hear any band or player. Glenn
I completely understand.
