Strathclyde Police storm Bathgate

Bathgate, Scotland – May 31, 2008 — The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band won the Grade 1 contest at the annual Bathgate Highland Games in West Lothian, Scotland, under warm sunshine. Three Grade 1 bands competed. Torphichen & Bathgate won the Grade 2 contest.

The event dropped its solo piping competitions. Bathgate games had been one of very few Scottish events that offered both solo and band contests.
