Hawke wins Dunvegan Medal

Portree, Scotland – August 8, 2006 – Thirty-nine pipers competed in the light music events and 30 in the Dunvegan Medal, and at the end of the day, Richard Hawke of New Zealand emerged the Medal winner and Pipe-Major Gordon Walker of Moscow, Scotland, the big winner in the ceol beag. Weather was rainy and windy.
