Maxville, Ontario – August 5, 2006 – The Toronto Police won the North American Pipe Band Championship in perfect, sunny weather at the Glengarry Highland Games, which drew another record crowd over the two days of events. In Grade 2, Fredericton Society of St. Andrew won. James MacHattie of Toronto won the overall Piper of the Day Award.
