James Beaumont sweeps Halifax solo piping
Halifax, Nova Scotia – July 8, 2006 – James Beaumont of Bo’Ness, Scotland, wone all of the Professional solo piping events at the Halifax Highland Games, with 11 competing in the class. The Fredericton Society of St. Andrew Pipe Band took the Grade 2 contest, and the 78th Highlanders Halifax Citadel played without a challenge in the Grade 1 event.
