World Championships decimates Fergus entry
Fergus, Ontario – August 14, 2004 – Spectator attendance at the Fergus Scottish Festival in the small Ontario village near the city of Guelph was bigger than ever, but competitors in the band and solo piping and drumming contests were probably the smallest in decades due to the event falling on the same day as the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow.
